The American power grid is incredibly old. It's incredibly dysfunctional. Much of it requires maintenance. Much of it is broken. Literally every single year it gets reported on as being our biggest vulnerability. Like the fact that the American power grid is still working right now is a miracle. And it would not be that difficult to destroy. It certainly wouldn't be difficult to destroy it for regions, maybe around the Pentagon, around Washington DC. But it would also be fairly easy to destroy it on a national scale. We haven't done any of the needed repair or security maintenance because we've been too busy doing this this civilizational suicide at the behest of a foreign actor.
