The most notable example is the recent firing of the Pentagon's chief planner, one Lieutenant General Brett Sylvia, from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Now, the official reason given is that he was leaking documents and leaking classified information specifically to Russia, which initially sounds like a pretty good reason to get rid of somebody or maybe even bring them up on charges of treason.

But people quickly found out what exactly he was leaking and why he was doing so. He was allegedly leaking information about Iran and our plans to Russia. I I can't confirm all the details about this. It's still unfolding, but seeing as Russia has supposedly caught wind of what exactly we're planning on doing in the Middle East following the midterms, this could absolutely be the reality. And if that's the case, I I think we can all gather why he would do that. Having Russia know about our soon-to-be actions in the Middle East against their semi ally could potentially be a bull work against us actually doing it.
