Iran is nearly a 100 million people with a gigantic military spread out across a mountainous country and we would basically be invading the whole country. It wouldn't be possible for us to just invade one section and try to box it off. We would need to invade the whole thing, not just one city or one place. And we would need to fight our way deep into Iran to even get close to any of the objectives. So, we're talking about fighting through the countryside, which is all mountainous, along a decentralized military network that has been preparing for this exact scenario for decades. Mind you, this is not Iraq, okay? This isn't even Afghanistan. It's the worst of Iraq and the worst of Afghanistan and the worst of D-Day on steroids. That's what this would be.
