I hear so often people talk about repealing Hart-Celler, which is just like that's not going to happen. But so many people are like, "Oh, we need to repeal Hart-Celler." And not only is it not going to happen, if it happened, what I find so funny is people don't look into the history of it. What ended up happening when there wasn't Hart-Celler was all these different ethnic groups would just hire lawyers and go to the Supreme Court and argue that they're white. And that's why Persians are legally considered white. Arabs are considered white. They would go and argue for it. And there was only so much we could do because like if Italians are considered white, then yeah, we have to consider Syrians white because it's a it's they're a border population. It's the same basically the same.
